Step 1 – Store Setup

This step walks you through setting up your vendor store on Asolora. Completing these basics ensures your store is visible, compliant, and ready to accept orders.

Note: You must be based in an eligible African country to set up an Asolora store. Currently eligible countries include Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.

Create Your Vendor Account

Visit the My Account page to register:

  1. Choose the I am a Vendor option.
  2. Fill in your details and click Register:
    • Shop URL: Prefilled based on your Shop Name. You can modify it but keep it aligned with your Shop Name to avoid confusion.
    • Post/ZIP Code: If your country does not use postal codes, enter 00000.
    • Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy: Review these carefully.
  3. Check your email, set your password, and complete email verification to log in.
  4. Click Go to Vendor Dashboard to continue your store setup:
    • You may see the message: Error! Your account is not enabled for selling, please contact the admin. This is normal.
    • Your registration will be reviewed to confirm you are an African vendor – approval usually takes 1 to 2 days. Wait to be notified via email before proceeding
    • Once approved, this error will disappear, and you can continue setting up your store.

Set Up Your Store

Once your account is activated, log in, proceed to Vendor Dashboard > Settings and complete the following sections:

  • StoreProfile Picture & Banner: Upload your logo and banner
  • StoreBiography: Enter your store description
  • ShippingStore Policies: Define your Shipping, Refund, and Cancellation policies.
    • You may
      • Include shipping in your product price: Set your shipping method to “Free Shipping ($0).”
      • Charge separate shipping: Add your shipping rates
  • Social Profiles: Consider adding your social profile links for better customer trust
  • Store SEO: Fill in details for all fields; see more information below

Asolora does not manage shipping and returns, so you are responsible for handling these with buyers.

Tip: A complete store profile increases customer trust and sales.

Store SEO – Why it Matters

SEO (search engine optimization) helps drive traffic to your online store and helps increase sales. It is important to set these fields.

  • SEO Title: Your store title as you would like it displayed in search engine results
  • Meta Description: Short description of your store (less than 156 characters) as you would like it displayed in search engine results
  • Meta Keywords: Comma-separated keywords that helps search engines determine what your store’s content
  • Facebook Title: Your store title which will appear in the Facebook News Feed
  • Facebook Description: Your store description which will appear in the Facebook News feed
  • Facebook Image: Your store banner which will appear in the Facebook News feed
  • X Title: Your store title which will appear in the X feed
  • X Description: Your store description which will appear in the X feed
  • X Image: Your store banner which will appear in the X feed.
